KO Possesses A Power Beyond Ultra Instinct
About
This article is not AI generated. A few years ago, Goku (from the Dragonball franchise) finally attained the power of MUI (Mastered Ultra Instinct). With this ability, Goku was able to fight without thinking. He seemed to be practically untouchable, as he could seamlessly dodge practically any attack thrown at him without hesitation.
In many versus battle debates, MUI comes up as an ultimate defensive trump card that allows Goku to effortlessly dodge almost anything his opponents can throw at him. But what if I were to tell you that KO (from the series "OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes") possesses a defensive ability that puts even MUI to shame? This article is going to break down what is in my opinion KO's ultimate defensive technique, and why I believe that this technique is a better defense than Goku's MUI.
The World Is An Illusion
In the OK KO episode "Your World is an Illusion", KO gains the ability to step outside of the show itself and into a greater dimensional space beyond it (referred to as the "Gaps Between Reality"). From this higher dimensional space, he perceives the world of the show as a flat plane. We have seen KO dodge attacks by moving into this higher dimension, and he can freely re-enter the world of the show whenever he wishes.
While in this higher dimensional space he can still be perceived by his enemies, but his enemies are unable to touch him or fully comprehend the fact that he is in a higher dimensional space. In the above screenshot you can see that KO is casting a shadow on the flat plane that is the world of the show, as his opponent's attack is unable to connect with him while he is in this higher dimensional state. KO actually defeats this opponent without having to re-enter the show.
His opponent is unable to comprehend what is happening, which essentially causes his robotic mind to become overwhelmed and his head to explode.
Interdimensional Dodging Vs MUI
While MUI allows Goku to dodge attacks automatically without thinking, he is still unable to dodge attacks that move faster than he can. KO's interdimensional dodging isn't automatic, but once KO has dodged into a higher dimensional space he is virtually untouchable by any opponent who can't do the same thing. This is why I believe that KO's interdimensional dodging is superior to Goku's MUI technique.
