K.O. Is More Powerful Than An Invincible God

K.O. Is More Powerful Than An Invincible God

About

This article is not AI generated. I have been making a lot of posts recently where I power scale characters from the series "OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes!". The title of this post is no exaggeration.

The goal of this article is to explain how K.O. is more powerful than an invincible god.

Who Is Invincible God Aquarius?

Aquarius is a character from the series "OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes" who is described by the creator of the series as an invincible god. His status as an invincible god is not limited to just an author statement. In the Plaza Tournament held during the episode "Let's Fight To The End!", Aquarius is listed as an invincible god on the tournament bracket.

The next section of this article will explain why the idea of Aquarius actually being an invincible god isn't that absurd in the OK K.O. verse. The next section is important because if you can't accept the fact that Invincible God Aquarius is actually an invincible god, then you won't be able to accept that K.O. is more powerful than an invincible god.

That's Ridiculous, Why Should We Believe Aquarius Is An Invincible God?

Gods in OK K.O. are actually a lot more common than you think. The President Of The Universe (an all powerful deity) and Corn Shepherd are both referred to as deities. Cosma isn't described as a deity, but she can quite literally warp reality itself and devour planets.

Even Enid, one of the show's main protagonists, is shown to be able to channel the divine energy of Corn Shepherd in the episode "Beach Episode". Invincibility also isn't something that is unheard of in the OK K.O. verse.

The character Holo Jane has invincibility has one of her main abilities. With this in mind, the idea that Aquarius is an invincible god isn't too far fetched for the OK K.O. verse at all. The next section of this article will explain the significance of the Plaza Tournament and hero levels in the OK K.O. verse.

The next section is important, because it provides necessary context for understanding how power is measured in the OK K.O. verse (which will be important later when we compare K.O.'s power to Aquarius' power).

The Plaza Tournament & The Importance Of Hero Levels

In the Plaza Tournament, all hero and villain levels were reset to 0. By progressing through the tournament, characters were able to increase the absolute value of their level every time they defeated an opponent in battle. Levels in the OK K.O. verse determine power.

Characters with higher absolute level values are simply more powerful than other characters. This power system is an established part of the OK K.O. verse and is used as an important plot point in multiple episodes (especially the episode "You're Level 100!"), in which characters are forced to either level up or team up with other characters to overcome enemies with greater levels than their own. The next section will explain how it is possible for someone who is described as being invincible can be defeated in the OK K.O. verse.

The next section is important, because if you are unable to accept that an invincible character can be defeated then you won't be able to accept that K.O. could defeat an invincible god.

Is It Possible To Defeat Someone Who Is Invincible In The OK K.O. Verse?

Aquarius and Dogmun faced off against each other in the Plaza Tournament as level 0 combatants. Despite Aquarius' title and status as an invincible god, he was defeated by Dogmun. You could argue that Aquarius wasn't truly invincible, because he was defeated by Dogmun

You could also argue that Dogmun is simply more powerful than Aquarius, which allows him to supersede Aquarius' invincibility. For the sake of this article, I will be assuming that the second argument is true. The next section of this article will provide additional evidence to support the second argument.

The next section of this article is important, because it helps to defend the idea that character levels supersede character abilities in OK K.O., which is the crux of the argument for how K.O. is more powerful than an invincible god.

Characters In OK K.O. Can Have Incredible Abilities But Have A Low Level

Holo Jane's ability makes her invincible to all attacks, and yet her hero level is 3 (Her level can be seen on her pow card in the episode "No More Pow Cards"). Being invincible doesn't make a character necessarily the most powerful, nor does it mean that they have a particularly high hero level.

Another great example of a character with a low level but an incredible ability is Jethro, a villain from the series who can move at light speed (as seen in the episode "Let's Meet Sonic") but has a level of -1 (villains have negative level values in OK K.O.). It sounds absurd, but it is actually incredibly consistent for characters with incredible powers to not necessarily be all that powerful in the OK K.O. verse. The next section of this article will compare the levels of K.O., Dogmun, and Aquarius to determine which character is the most powerful.

The next section of this article is important, because it directly compares K.O.'s level to Aquarius' and shows that K.O. is objectively more powerful than Aquarius is.

Conclusion: K.O. > Dogmun > Aquarius

At the end of the series, K.O. possesses a hero level of 100. Dogmun, the character that defeated Aquarius in the Plaza Tournament, consistently has a hero level of 1 throughout the entire series. Invincible God Aquarius has a hero level of 0.

K.O. at the beginning of the series is a level 0 hero, meaning that K.O. and Aquarius were actually evenly matched at the start of the series in terms of power. It is insane to think that K.O. started off his journey being as powerful as an invincible god, and finished the journey being significantly more powerful than an invincible god by a considerable margin. Thanks to Aquarius' incredibly low level, it could be argued that every character in OK K.O. is bare minimum as powerful as an invincible god.

Can Psycho Mantis (Metal Gear) Hit K.O. (OK K.O.) While He Is In The Gap Between Realities?

Can Psycho Mantis (Metal Gear) Hit K.O. (OK K.O.) While He Is In The Gap Between Realities?

About

This article is not AI generated. In my last blog post, I talked about how K.O. from "OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes!" has the ability to dodge attacks by moving into a space known as the "gap between realities". I call this ability "Interdimensional Dodging".

I made a post on Reddit about this asking who is the weakest character in fiction who could hit K.O. while he is using his interdimensional dodging technique. One Redditor commented that Psycho Mantis from the "Metal Gear" franchise should be able to hit K.O. while he is using his interdimensional dodging ability. In today's blog post, I am going to use Psycho Mantis' respect thread and my OK K.O. knowledge to try and see if Psycho Mantis could hit K.O. while he is using his interdimensional dodging ability.

I recommend reading yesterday's blog post first, if you haven't already, to familiarize yourself with OK K.O.'s interdimensional dodging ability.

What Do I Know About Metal Gear Lore?

I have never played through an entire Metal Gear game. I don't know a lot about the franchise's story or scaling. With this in mind, I will be relying heavily on Psycho Mantis' respect thread.

Respect threads are quick to read posts that compile information on a character's background, combat style, and best feats. Respect threads are commonly used by powerscalers to quickly learn about characters they are less familiar with, so that they can participate in debates featuring said characters.

If you would like to read over Psycho Mantis' respect thread, you can do so by clicking here. I have read through the entire respect thread for Psycho Mantis and I now feel ready to dive into today's discussion.

Reality Transcendent Telekinesis

Psycho Mantis' most relevant feat for the topic at hand involves an ability that I'm calling "Reality Transcendent Telekinesis (RTT)". This ability essentially allows Psycho Mantis to use his telekinesis to manipulate objects that exist in different realities. As far as I'm aware, Psycho Mantis' best RTT feat is moving the player's controller in the real world using his telekinesis.

Can RTT Affect K.O. While He Is Interdimensional Dodging?

I think it is honestly up to debate on whether or not RTT can affect K.O. while he is interdimensional dodging. It really depends on how exactly RTT works. If RTT can only affect things that exist inside of a given reality, then I believe K.O. should be unaffected because while he is interdimensional dodging he doesn't exist in any reality.

If RTT can affect anything outside of Psycho Mantis' reality, whether it is in another reality or not, then I do think Psycho Mantis can hit K.O. with RTT.

Conclusion

In the end, I think it is all up to interpretation whether or not you think RTT can or can't affect K.O. while he is interdimensional dodging. KO Possesses A Power Beyond Ultra Instinct

KO Possesses A Power Beyond Ultra Instinct

About

This article is not AI generated. A few years ago, Goku (from the Dragonball franchise) finally attained the power of MUI (Mastered Ultra Instinct). With this ability, Goku was able to fight without thinking. He seemed to be practically untouchable, as he could seamlessly dodge practically any attack thrown at him without hesitation.

In many versus battle debates, MUI comes up as an ultimate defensive trump card that allows Goku to effortlessly dodge almost anything his opponents can throw at him. But what if I were to tell you that KO (from the series "OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes") possesses a defensive ability that puts even MUI to shame? This article is going to break down what is in my opinion KO's ultimate defensive technique, and why I believe that this technique is a better defense than Goku's MUI.

The World Is An Illusion

In the OK KO episode "Your World is an Illusion", KO gains the ability to step outside of the show itself and into a greater dimensional space beyond it (referred to as the "Gaps Between Reality"). From this higher dimensional space, he perceives the world of the show as a flat plane. We have seen KO dodge attacks by moving into this higher dimension, and he can freely re-enter the world of the show whenever he wishes.

While in this higher dimensional space he can still be perceived by his enemies, but his enemies are unable to touch him or fully comprehend the fact that he is in a higher dimensional space. In the above screenshot you can see that KO is casting a shadow on the flat plane that is the world of the show, as his opponent's attack is unable to connect with him while he is in this higher dimensional state. KO actually defeats this opponent without having to re-enter the show.

His opponent is unable to comprehend what is happening, which essentially causes his robotic mind to become overwhelmed and his head to explode.

Interdimensional Dodging Vs MUI

While MUI allows Goku to dodge attacks automatically without thinking, he is still unable to dodge attacks that move faster than he can. KO's interdimensional dodging isn't automatic, but once KO has dodged into a higher dimensional space he is virtually untouchable by any opponent who can't do the same thing. This is why I believe that KO's interdimensional dodging is superior to Goku's MUI technique.

I Asked A Physicist To Help Me Power Scale OK KO

I Asked A Physicist To Help Me Power Scale OK KO

About

This article is not AI generated. My last blog post was about how characters in OK KO possessed infinite durability and attack potency, as well as the ability to move at light speed. That last blog post is one of the most viewed posts on the blog.

It is also one of the most controversial posts on the blog. I am currently in multiple Reddit debates about the claims made in my last post, so I thought it might be a good idea to try and address the criticisms my last post received in today's post.

Fictional Black Holes vs Real Black Holes

I have been hearing people argue that you shouldn't take into account black hole related feats in fiction, because fictional black holes don't follow the same rules as black holes in real life. One Reddit user told me that because we can see the black hole in OK KO, that the black hole clearly doesn't work the same way as a real black hole and therefore cannot be compared to a real black hole. I disagree with this idea for a few reasons that I will go over now.

The black hole is shown, even though you can't see a black hole in real life, to give the audience a visual representation of what's happening. OK KO is a children's cartoon and it is excusable for it to show visual representations of what is happening so that its intended audience can understand what is going on. That shouldn't be a reason to discount this feat.

OK KO itself doesn't explicitly say that the black hole shown doesn't possess any properties that a normal black hole doesn't have, so I would argue that we shouldn't assume that the black hole shown doesn't possess the same properties that normal black holes have.

Comment From An Actual Physicist On Black Holes

*This is just a fun and entertaining blog post that is applying scientific concepts to an inherently non-scientific fictional work. You cannot have an accurate scientific conversation about something that does not hold to scientific parameters.*

I asked my friend Aidan Miller, who has a Bachelor's degree in physics, to weigh in on the black hole debate. He more or less said that we don't fully understand what happens to something after it falls past the event horizon of a black hole for a real black hole, so it would be extremely difficult to argue that what is presented in OK KO doesn't match what happens in real life.

I showed him the clip of KO and Enid falling into the black hole, and he said that both KO and Enid appeared to be moving at faster than light speed. They both were being spaghetified by the black hole, and then resisted it effortlessly (no longer being spaghetified and casually talking/moving like normal). This puzzled Aidan at first, until I explained to him how powers work in the OK KO universe.

Familiarity with OK KO's power system allowed Aidan to accept that characters in OK KO, who gain their powers from an all powerful deity (The President Of The Universe), are capable of doing seemingly impossible things. I asked him pointblank, would you say that they demonstrated infinite durability. His response was more or less that you could say their durability is infinite, but that's mainly because we don't know where the number stops (referring to how strong tidal forces become when someone falls into the center of a black hole).

My interpretation of this is that he is essentially saying that you could argue that KO and Enid possess pseudoinfinite durability, or the ability to withstand a seemingly (but not in fact) endless amount of force. For the sake of argument, this doesn't make a lot of difference when arguing character durability. Whether a character has infinite durability, or in-determinant pseudoinfinite durability, they can still withstand seemingly endless amounts of force.

Conclusion

A physicist agrees with me that we shouldn't assume that the black hole in OK KO doesn't share properties with a real black hole. That same physicist argues that KO and Enid are shown moving at faster than light speeds during their withstanding a black hole feat, supporting my previous post's claim that characters in OK KO can move at light speed. Said physicist disagrees with the idea that the withstanding a black hole feat gives KO and Enid infinite durability, but he does support the idea that their durability could be described as pseudoinfinite.

Infinite Strength, Speed, & Durability In OK KO

Infinite Strength, Speed, & Durability In OK KO

About

This article is not AI generated. The last article posted on this blog was about how the OK KO verse is stronger than you'd think. That article mainly focused on how star level in OK KO is a joke and how powerful the President Of The Universe is.

I personally think a better argument could be made for how strong the OK KO verse is. This article is going to show how some of the weakest characters in the OK KO verse could arguably be described as having infinite attack potency, infinite durability, and the ability to move at the speed of light.

What Are Levels In OK KO?

In the OK KO verse, character power is ranked with levels on a scale of -100 to 100. Levels are treated as absolute values, which means that a level -100 character is just as strong as a level 100 character. Characters with positive levels are heroic, while characters with negative levels are villainous.

When comparing the levels of two characters from the OK KO verse, we take the absolute value of both character's levels and see which is greatest. The character with the greatest level is more powerful.

What Are Attack Potency & Durability?

How durable a character is determines the amount of force they can withstand. Destructive capacity (an alternative term for attack potency) describes how much destructive force can be output by a character. Newton's third law of motion dictates that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

When taking Newton's third law into consideration, we can argue that if a character can withstand an amount of force that they can also output that same amount of force. This means that a character with infinite durability could be argued to have infinite attack potency.

The Infinite Destructive Power Of Black Holes

Gravity toward s the center of black holes grows exponentially stronger, meaning that the tidal forces of the center of a black hole are arguably infinite. This means that to withstand falling into the center of a black hole, a character would have to literally withstand infinite force and therefore possess infinite durability. Based on what was mentioned in the previous section, infinite durability equates to infinite attack potency.

OK KO Characters Level 4+ Possess Infinite Durability

In the episode "Deep Space Vacation", both Enid and KO casually survived and withstood falling into a black hole. KO at the time was level 4. Enid at the time was level 5. This establishes that characters in OK KO with a level of 4 or higher are capable of withstanding falling into the center of a black hole, have infinite durability, and therefore possess infinite attack potency.

It could be argued that level 100 characters are 25 times more durable than, and possess an attack potency 25 times greater than, that of level 4 characters.

OK KO Characters Level 1+ Can Move At Light Speed

In the episode "Let's Meet Sonic", an OK KO villain named Jethro was shown to be capable of casually moving at light speed. Jethro has a level of -1, which establishes that characters in OK KO with a level of 1 or higher are capable of moving at light speed. It could be argued that level 100 characters could be capable of moving at 100 times the speed of light.

Conclusion

People underestimate how powerful the OK KO verse is. Characters level 4+ have infinite attack potency and durability. Characters level 1+ can move at light speed.

The next time you hear people debating about who some of the most powerful characters in fiction are, don't forget to bring up the many powerhouses of OK KO.

Respect The OK KO Verse

Respect The OK KO Verse

About

This article is not AI generated. This is an article about how ridiculous the power scaling is in "OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes". I constantly see people talk about how strong characters like Goku and Superman are, but I almost never see anyone talk about how strong the characters in OK KO are. This blog post will contain spoilers for OK KO.

Star Level Is A Joke

Star level characters are those who are strong enough to destroy a star, or strong enough to hurt a character that is strong enough to destroy a star. In some fictional universes, star level characters are some of the strongest characters in the entire verse. In OK KO, star level is laughably weak.

A negative level indicates that a character is villainous. OK KO features the sun itself as a character named Cool Sun. He is literally a star, specifically the sun, and in the world of OK KO he was formed at the beginning of the universe. Cool Sun is a level 2 character (Based on the OK KO Wikia).

Think about that, some of the most powerful characters in OK KO are level 100. That's fifty times more powerful than the literal sun. Let's say that 760 Quettatons of force are needed to destroy the sun.

Fifty times 760 Quettatons is 38000 Quettatons. If 1000 Quettatons are in a Foe, then 38000 Quettatons is equal to 38 Foe. Let's say that you only need 22.77 Foe to destroy the solar system

You might believe that KO is the most powerful character in OK KO, but you would be wrong.

Solar System Level Is Nothing To The President Of The Universe

OK KO features a character known as the President Of The Universe. The President Of The Universe doesn't possess a level as far as I'm aware, but his feats speak for themselves. He possesses the power to grant wishes and he claims that he can literally grant any wish.

We got to see this in action when he granted KO's wish for everyone to live their best life. He is also is the creator of glorbs, the source of everyone's powers in the OK KO universe. He is an all-powerful deity

Don't Underestimate The OK KO Universe

Next time you are debating about who are some of the strongest fictional characters, don't forget to make OK KO part of the conversation. You'll likely catch whoever you're talking to by surprise.
